Who am I? 🏃🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️

Hi! I'm Ben Hoskyn, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and endurance coach focused on helping athletes train smarter, stay healthy, and perform at a high level over the long term.

I earned my Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Boise State University and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University of Oregon. Since then, I've dedicated my clinical career exclusively to endurance athletes, treating runners and cyclists every day in a specialty setting.

What shapes my work isn't just clinical training—it's lived experience.

As an active runner and cyclist, I've made the same training mistakes that eventually bring athletes into the clinic: poor volume management, inadequate recovery, and failing to account for life stress. Seeing these patterns play out both personally and professionally has shaped my philosophy centered on prevention, sustainability, and long-term development.

Coaching & Performance Guidance

    • Runners who want to train consistently without cycling through setbacks or forced resets.

    • Athletes who value long-term development over chasing short-term wins.

    • People who want guidance shaped by real clinical experience, not just numbers on a screen.

This isn’t for athletes looking for generic plans or purely metric-driven coaching.

  • Coaching centers on how training decisions are made over time. Progression is intentional, recovery is accounted for, and adjustments are made based on how you’re actually responding.

The goal isn’t perfect training. It’s building fitness for the long run (Ha! Get it?).

  • Coaching is delivered virtually in a 1-on-1 format, allowing for ongoing adjustments as training and life demands change. Structure and communication are designed to support consistency, not just compliance.
