About Me!
Hi! I'm Ben Hoskyn, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and endurance coach focused on helping athletes train smarter, stay healthy, and perform at a high level over the long term.
I earned my Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Boise State University and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University of Oregon. Since then, I've dedicated my clinical career exclusively to endurance athletes, treating runners and cyclists every day in a specialty setting.
What shapes my work isn't just clinical training—it's lived experience.
As an active runner and cyclist, I've made the same training mistakes that eventually bring athletes into the clinic: poor volume management, inadequate recovery, and failing to account for life stress. Seeing these patterns play out both personally and professionally has shaped my philosophy centered on prevention, sustainability, and long-term development.
In my clinical work, I consistently see injuries that could have been avoided with better integration of training load, recovery, and real-world stressors.
Traditional endurance coaching often focuses on numbers while ignoring the broader context of an athlete's life.
My approach bridges that gap by emphasizing adaptability, intelligent decision-making, and resilience over rigid metrics.
My work today spans endurance coaching, educational resources, and performance guidance for runners. My physical therapy background informs everything—from how training is structured to how athletes learn to recognize early warning signs before injury becomes the limiting factor.
My goal: help endurance athletes build durable fitness, train with intention, and pursue performance goals without sacrificing long-term health.
Because the best progress is the kind you can sustain.

My Core Philosophy
Training should fit your life — not the other way around.
Ignoring the stress, demands, and realities outside of training is a fast track to burnout. I’ve learned this the hard way.
Health is performance.
You don’t have to choose between feeling good and performing well. True performance is built with both.
Longevity matters more than short-term PRs.
Long-term consistency is where real growth happens. Prioritize the process, and the PRs will follow.
It’s not just about doing more — it’s about doing better.
